Responsibilities

 

  •  Build, grow, and maintain strong working relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and insurance providers within the commercial trucking industry.
  • Coordinate financing between customers, lenders, and internal sales teams to ensure timely and accurate deal execution.
  • Present, sell, and negotiate aftermarket products including extended warranties, GAP insurance, and related protection products.
  • Record, track, and analyze income sources from finance and insurance (F&I) products to identify trends, improve efficiency, and increase overall profitability.
  • Evaluate and determine collateral value to structure competitive financing solutions and close deals quickly while maximizing value for both the customer and dealership.
  • Obtain, review, and analyze customer financial documentation to recommend appropriate loan products, rates, terms, and financing options.
  • Educate customers clearly and compliantly on financing terms, lender requirements, and optional protection products to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee and streamline the collection, processing, and recording of incoming payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and fully completed sales packets.
  • Ensure all finance transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing lending, disclosures, and insurance products.
  • Streamline, automate, and improve paperwork workflows and electronic contracting processes to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Knowledge
Knowledge & experience with computer operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel (use of advanced Excel functions, formulas & ability to generate insightful reports), Microsoft Word as well as solid keyboarding skills (with a minimum of 40 WPM). Excellent verbal communication, analytical/problem solving, and organizational skills are essential.

 

Schedule

Monday through Friday with a minimum of 45 hours per week.

 

Experience, Education, and Training

5+ years of relevant F&I and transportation industry experience and

previous experience at a lending institution or automotive dealership is preferred. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in a Business, Finance, or related field is a plus.

 

Working Environment
Team oriented, fast-paced environment. Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Call volume can be heavy at times.

 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit a majority of your shift. Must be able to multitask & handle a potentially large volume of phone calls and correspondence.
