Responsibilities

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide top notch customer service on the phone and in person for our drivers.
  • Set up and cancel lease contracts as needed.
  • Update & maintain spreadsheets for inventory, maintenance & other critical data points.
  • Manage important processes such as new truck orders, end of lease processing, APU payment posting, repair processing & coding, tire fund management, physical damage processing, and more.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to assist our drivers.
  • Assist drivers in their selection of new trucks.

 

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Knowledge

Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred. Ability and experience working with Microsoft Excel is mandatory. 

 

Abilities

Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required. Accurate typing up to 40 WPM. Ability to multitask and a flexible schedule required.  Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to execute logical decisions quickly is required. Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook, and the general Internet. Some weekend work will be necessary for this position. Must have a strong work history. 

 

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 

 

Physical Requirements

This position requires being able to sit and remain focused and motivated for long periods of time. Being able to multitask between the computer, phone, and different projects is required.

 

Working Environment

Team oriented, fast-paced environment. Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Call volume can be heavy at times.

 

Licensing/Certification

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
