Summary:
Organize and review warranty claims made by customers and ensure that payment is made satisfactorily for all aspects involved in warranty by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Check, verify, process, document and file warranty forms. · Receive, reconcile and record payment summaries from manufacturers. · Educate shops on warranty process. · Work with mechanics on proper procedures and guidelines for warranty. · Negotiates with vendors on policies. · Keeps track of all claims filed in order to not let them age without payment. · Investigates overdue, unsettled and short-paid claims. · Record and process claim information to manufacturer specifications. · Ensure warranty repairs are carried out to customer satisfaction. · Good organizational skills and communication skills are necessary. · Answer phones and resolve concerns. · Must be able to lift and carry 80lbs; push and pull 80lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred. Mechanical and parts knowledge is helpful.
Abilities
Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required. Accurate typing up to 40 WPM. Multitasking and a flexible schedule required.
Experience, Education, and Training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires long periods of being seated at a desk. Some standing, forward reaching, and grasping; frequent walking, head turning, bending, handling, and side reaching are also required. Candidate must be able to lift and carry 80lbs; push and pull 80lbs.
Steel toed footwear, and safety glasses are required in the shop.
Working Environment
Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.
Licensing/Certification
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
