Responsibilities

Prime's Spa Receptionist interacts with clients through greeting, scheduling, processing payments and maintaining the work area by performing the following duties:

 

  • Greets clients and directs them to the waiting area.
  • Handles incoming calls, transfers calls, and takes messages.
  • Schedules appointments for personal care services.
  • Collects fee for services from customers.
  • Answers clients’ questions.
  • Promotes salon services and retail products.
  • Sells retail products and gift certificates.
  • Straightens and cleans reception and retail areas.
  • Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Knowledge

Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred; also basic knowledge of administrative duties would be helpful.

 

Abilities

Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required.  Accurate typing up to 45 WPM.  Multi-tasking and a flexible schedule required.  Some weekend work will be necessary for this position.

 

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Physical Requirements

This position does require walking, standing and some kneeling. Candidate will need to lift approximately 25lbs at a time. The ability to effectively communicate with others verbally and written is also required.

 

Working Environment

Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment.

 

Licensing/Certification

None required.
