Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This individual will play a key role in our recruitment efforts by conducting in-person and virtual interviews, evaluating applications, attending job fairs and other recruiting events, and managing our FMLA process. The Recruiting Coordinator will also collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and job objectives, ensuring a smooth recruitment process that aligns with company goals. Occasional travel may be required for job fairs and events. This position demands exceptional customer service skills, proficiency in administrative tools, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person and virtual interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Review and evaluate job applications, resumes, and credentials, recommending qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Attend job fairs, recruiting events, and networking opportunities to attract top talent.
  • Manage and oversee the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) process, ensuring compliance and smooth administration.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job descriptions, and recruitment objectives.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide reports to management regarding recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and upcoming needs.
  • Maintain and update job postings across various platforms and the iCims applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams, candidates, and external vendors.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and extending job offers.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or 2+ years of relevant experience in recruitment or HR coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Zoom.
  • Must type at least 45 words per minute (WPM).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience with iCims or similar applicant tracking systems is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment or human resources preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for job fairs and other recruiting events.
