Responsibilities

Banquet Setup is responsible for the setup and overall preparation of all l banquets and banquet related Food & Beverage operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and follow instructions from Banquets Manager and/or Captain.
  • Set meeting rooms and banquet functions per specifications on resume and BEOs or as given by banquet management. Prepare for each function as appropriate, including, but not limited to placement of tables and chairs, linens, table settings, beverage stations, buffet set-up, bar set-up, etc.
  • Prepare rooms for setup to include clearing dishes, removing linen and trash, cleaning /vacuuming, etc.
  • Proper care, movement, and storage of banquet supplies.
  • Keep service corridors, pre-function space, and storage areas clean, organized, and unobstructed.
  • Maintain open communication with the Banquet Manager and/or Banquet Captain, informing of immediate changes or needs.
  • Perform general and deep cleaning /organizing tasks as directed by management.
  • Work safely and courteously at all times

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to deal required.
  • Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills
  • Must be able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
  • Must have a positive and professional upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
  • Must be dependable and energetic
  • Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands
  • Shifts will vary between the hours of 5pm-5am.

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a very physical position that requires constant standing and walking. Frequent bending, squatting, handling, and grasping. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. Pushing and pulling and average weight of 97lbs
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment on a continuous basis throughout shift.

Working Environment

  • Indoor working conditions in fast paced environment.

Miscellaneous Requirements

 

Candidate must be able to pass a physical through CARR Physical Therapy prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
