• Configure, test, and install new workstations, servers, peripheral equipment, and software;
• Configure and support hardware and software in the IT environment;
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to issues in the IT environment;
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting of the network infrastructure to identify, resolve, and prevent issues;
• Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions;
• Update server operating systems, software packages, anti-virus, and installed applications;
• Support and maintain equipment;
• Document process and solution.

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge

Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred.

Abilities

Strong customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.  Must be self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision effectively.

Experience, Education, and Training

Two years of relevant technical experience required.  Microsoft Server experience and basic networking knowledge required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires being able to sit and remain focused and motivated for long periods of time. Being able to multitask between the computer, phone, and different projects is required.

Working Environment

Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Shift is a day position with before- or after-hour work as necessary.  Some occasional weekend work may be required.
