Prime Inc. is looking for amazing people to join the team at our warehouse in Wilsonville, Oregon.  This position will focus on your working in our warehouse with about 20% of your time driving for pickups and deliveries.

• 20% driving (primarily local)
• 80% warehouse labor
• Product/box sortation manually to staged area by customer/destination
• Loading of trucks with manual pallet jack and/or forklift
• Unloading of trucks with manual pallet jack and/or forklift
• Customer interaction at time of product pick up and/or delivery
• Paperwork sortation by customer/destination
• Local customer deliveries as needed
• Local shipper pick-ups as needed
• Will need to have CDL class A and be able to drive a three axle straight truck.
• Possess and maintain a valid US Passport and ability to enter Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge

Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred. General knowledge in warehouse operations is a plus.

Abilities

Must have a strong work history and great customer service skills. Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends required Must have good organizational, multi-tasking and customer service skills. Reliable, strong desire to learn, ability to follow directions and focus. Works well with others in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Forklift experience and certification a plus.

Hours and weekly work schedule may vary based on arrival time of inbound product deliveries and required local delivery timing to customers. Due to the nature of our business and during peak shipping periods, it may be necessary to work additionally as needed. 

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

Forklift experience and certification preferred but not required. Must be able to handle boxes up to  60lbs. each.

Working Environment

Indoor and outdoor at times. Must be able to handle and endure multiple weather conditions.
