Overview

 

Full Prime

Prime, Inc. is looking for a hard-working, dedicated individual to setup and tear down flatbed equipment on trucks for new and past drivers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Setup/tear down Flatbed equipment for new and past drivers as trucks are issued out and turned in.  
  • Helps assist in tanker repairs as necessary.
  • Repairs, replaces, and patches tarps for flatbed trucks.
  • Ensures the timely and authorized entrance to, departure of equipment.
  • Tracks and accounts for inventory.
  • Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

 

Knowledge

Industrial experience is a plus.

 

Abilities

Must have a strong work history. Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends required.

 

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Physical Requirements

This position requires constant standing; frequent walking, head turning, stooping, squatting, reaching and grasping. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 105lbs and also push and pull up to 115lbs.  Steel toed footwear, and safety glasses are required in the shop.

 

Working Environment

Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.

 

Licensing/Certification

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.

 

Miscellaneous Requirements

Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
