    Will Toca

    Prime, Inc. is looking for a motivated salesperson to join our Driver Recruiting team. This associate will primarily recruit, research, interview, screen and refers job candidates for openings. 

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements;
    • Provides information about he organization and position to applicants; 
    • Provides information on company facilities and job opportunites to potential applicants; 
    • Confer with management to identify needs specifications within the company; 
    • Develop and maintain network for contacts to help identify and source qualified contacts; 
    • Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings; 
    • Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants;
    • Schedule orientation for prospective drivers;
    • Manage a high volume of phone calls; 
    • Practice Company Core Values. 

     

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

     

    Knowledge

    Basic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry preferred, but not required. Prior customer service experience preferred.

     

    Abilities

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to execute logical decisions quickly. Ability to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced, team oriented environment. Good computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to accurately type at 40 WPM. Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and the general Internet. Require flexible schedule with the ability to work a Monday through Friday 8am-5pm shift with a weekend rotation and occassional travel. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills. 

     

    Experience, Education, and Training

    Four year college degree in a business related field or at least one year in a customer service environment preferred, but not required.

     

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to sit for a large portion of the day. Also needs to be able to multitask, talk on the telephone for extended periods of time and type efficiently.

     

    Working Environment

    Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Surroundings can be noisy at times.

     

    Licensing/Certification

    None required.
