    Prime, Inc. is looking for a customer-oriented, energetic individual to join our company retail store!  Responsibilities will include obtaining or receiving merchandise, stocking and tidying shelves and tables, totaling bills, accepting payment, and making change for customers in the company store by performing the following duties:


    • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
    • Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
    • Stamps, marks, or tags pricing on merchandising.
    • Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer.
    • Answers customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
    • Provides excellent customer service at all times.
    • Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
    • Accepts payment and makes change.
    • Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.
    • Cleans shelves, counters, or tables.
    • Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift.
    • Calculates sales discount to determine price.
    • Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock, and orders merchandise.



    Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.



    Knowledgeable about the operation of a retail store is helpful. Customer service oriented is definitely preferred.



    Effectively manage the operations of the company store while assisting customers and helping other associates. Perform effectively as a member of the team in carrying out the purpose of the store. Perform the essential duties of the job.


    Experience, Education, and Training

    Retail experience is preferred, although we can train the right candidate. Must be able to demonstrate a solid work history as well as an interest in the industry, be self-motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills. Prior cash-handling experience is required.


    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to stand for up to entire shift. Performs bending, lifting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead. Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls merchandise, equipment, supplies, etc. up to 50 lbs.


    Working Environment

    Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a retail environment.


    Miscellaneous Requirements

    Flexible hours required with the willingness to work evenings and weekends. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
