The Breakfast Supervisor is responsible for supervising and participating in the daily complimentary breakfast operations.
Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures.
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner
Stocks, maintains and cleans the breakfast dining area.
Responds to guest inquiries/requests and resolves issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
Maintains a prepared and sanitary work area at all times.
Constantly uses safe and hygienic food handling practices.
Handles, stores and rotates products properly.
Assists in food prep assignments.
Ensures all opening and closing checklists are complete.
Supervise and direct breakfast associates.
Works with the Executive Chef to develop creative and cost effective breakfast items.
Covers shifts in the absence of breakfast staff.
Assists in various areas of the hotels Food & Beverage outlets.
Other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef/ Executive Chef.
Must be able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
Must be dependable and energetic
Previous experience cooking in large volume preferred
This is an early morning shift, however requires flexibility to work based on business demands
Must have a positive and professional personality with the desire to deliver outstanding guest service.
Must have the ability to motivate and inspire the breakfast team, as well as successfully enforcing policy and procedure.
