The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager in monitoring the cleanliness and upkeep of all public space areas in accordance with Oasis standards.



  • Conducts daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the housekeeping department to include guest rooms and public space.
  • Assists in the training and re-training of new and current associates.
  • Assists with achieving and maintaining QA goals and ratings.
  • Performs Room Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed.
  • Completes and communicates maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Department
  • Stays in constant communication with engineering Department to maintain and correct all repairs and renovations problems.
  • Turns over all vacant and clean room; verifies stay overs; reports early check outs; communicates issues and discrepancies with front office.
  • Checks unoccupied rooms to ensure accuracy of housekeeping and front office reports
  • Keeps Housekeeping Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems and matters of significance



  • 2 years of housekeeping experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills
  • Ability to make strong guest service judgements/ decisions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must excel in a fast paced environment
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Must have a positive, cheerful disposition
  • Weekends are required

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires constant standing and walking. Position also requires frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing and overhead reaching.

Working Environment:

  • Primarily indoor working conditions in a fast-paced environment. Though will be required to work in outdoor conditions at times.
